At Certified Tattoo Studios, we love all forms of artwork and the way people choose to express themselves through their bodies.
However, sometimes over-time we mature and our passions we once had fade, as well as the ink on our skin.
In cases like this, we are 100% open to discussing options for tattoo cover-ups. This process is highly variable from person to person, and depends heavily on the state of the existing tattoo. Don't let this discourage you in any way! At Certified, we'll do just about anything to make sure you walk out of our shop with confidence in pride, as well as some beautiful new artwork to help you fix some past mistakes.
We also do laser tattoo removal, if you are interested in laser tattoo removal,

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does a cover-up cost?
In order for us to provide you with the best quality and customer service possible, we do not put a premium on our cover-ups, and instead charge our normal rates. We want you to be satisfied with your new tattoo and treat it as if you were getting something brand new in the same place as your old piece.
HOW LONG WILL MY COVER-UP TAKE?
To make sure your cover up is done the best way, it may take more time than a standard tattoo. Your tattoo artist may have to go over the piece a few more times than usual. Other factors such as the intensity of the original ink and type of art your tattoo artist decides to put over it will also factor into the time it takes to execute the tattoo cover-up. Since the amount of time will vary from person-to- person, it's best to come in to schedule a consultation with one of our amazing cover-up specialists.
IS THERE ARTWORK THAT MAY BE HARD TO COVER UP?
While MOST tattoos are eligible for a cover-up, the more realistic the tattoo is, the more challenging the cover-up will be because tattoo cover-ups often work best when the same style is used for the new tattoo. Faces are also generally more challenging to cover because your artist will have to distort a face into a new design.
Despite this, we encourage you to come in for a consultation. You never know until you ask!
